I came one trip short but in the end I really enjoyed the last 6 weeks of fun and adventures. First off we headed to the Elgin tented camp to watch Prime Circle and stay the night. I thoroughly enjoyed this and it was a great start to the festive season.
Then for New Years we went to Theewater Sport Club and camped for 2 nights as well as went to the Franschhoek motor museum which really put the cherry on top of the trip.
After the first two, the holiday fever was in full swing and I was really eager to get away again. We then headed off the Robertson to stay at the Rivierzicht campsite, which honestly was one of the best campsites I’ve ever been to. There was something magical about waking up along the Breede River. The last trip was to my bread-and-butter campsite (Yzerfontein) and as usual it didn’t disappoint. I really like the fact that it’s just a quick dash down the coast and it’s just a great site overall.
Expect a reiew on Theewaters camping as well as Yzerfontein campsite in the upcoming week!
Next on my to-go list are Tweede Tol and to camp around the Slanghoek area (haven’t decided exact spot yet) Hopefully sooner, rather than later 🙂
